Cancellation Policy

Please note Credit Card details must be provided in order to book any appointments. The Loft has a 48 hour cancellation policy.  If late notice is given for movement or cancellation of an appointment, 50% of the service booked will be charged to the card provided.  In the event of a No Show for an appointment, or same day cancellation, a 100% charge for the service missed or cancelled, will be applied to the card provided to us.  This applies to both online bookings and manual bookings made with our guest coordinators.

 

Service Redo Policy

At The Loft we strive to make your hair dreams come true.  Our talented team takes every effort to communicate with you to achieve your desired look. 
If you are not happy with an element of your service, we want to work with you to correct it.  In this case, please contact us within 48 hours of the initial service, to discuss options to move forward. A consultation, in person or over the phone, will be needed before a redo is booked.
  • We do not issue refunds on our services.
  • Any redo must be requested and completed within 14 days of the initial service and with the same stylist you originally saw.  We reserve the right to refuse a redo for various reasons, including but not limited to, if the result you sought was achieved, but you had a change of mind, or if the stylist discussed with you the possibility of our inability to achieve the result you wished to achieve and you continued with the initial service, knowing this possible outcome.
  • We will not provide any redo services if you or another stylist makes any adjustments to your hair after the original services you were provided.
  • Colour or service fees may apply for a redo, depending on the situation. 
  • If a redo is requested because you have changed your mind about the look you wanted to achieve, regular colour fees and hourly rates will apply.
  • A redo is making a slight adjustment, adding an extra foil, tweaking layers of a cut, or adjusting tone.  A redo is not a full additional service.  No blowdrying or styling is included with a redo.  If desired, that can be booked alongside a redo at the full cost of a blowdry with your stylist.
  • To avoid issues with colour fade and fallout, we cannot guarantee your colour without the use of recommended professional products.  Professional products are meant to maintain the length of colour and support the colour systems used in service.
  • If the original service was a Colour Correction, a waiver is signed to help ensure expectations of service and services moving forward.  Colour Corrections are booked and priced by the hour, and multiple appointments may be needed to achieve the final look.  Due to this, Colour Corrections are exempt from having a redo, as the possibility of multiple appointments is expected with the initial service.

Colour Corrections

A colour correction is any service that requires drastic change such as: darker to lighter hair colour, removing at home (box dye) hair colour, fixing/repairing an undesired hair colour, or the full head of hair being foiled. 
All of our colour corrections require a consultation previous to making an appointment. Colour correction appointments require a $200 deposit and are charged hourly.  They also require 7 days notice for movement or cancellation due to timing needed for the service.  Colour correction services start at $120 an hour and are paired with either a cut or blowdry service, charged at the pricing of your stylists' level.
Most colour corrections require at least two separate appointments and can go up depending on the integrity of the hair and the desired look.  A service waiver will be required before performing any colour corrective service. This waiver will lay out in detail all hair history, general price quote, and the consent of the client.  Colour corrections are exempt from Redos, due to the fact that multiple appointments may be required.
